As the highest elevation of the Palatinate Forest, the Haardt landscape forms the eastern edge of it. It extends about 30km north of Bad Dürkheim via Neustadt Weinstraße to about Albersweiler, which is 9km south of Weyher. The predominant parent rock is Buntsandstein, the weathering of which can be found in most of the soils in this region. Other rock on the western border is isolated Rotliegend, as well as slate and marl.

Location Burrweiler Schlossgarten is located east of the village of Burrweiler and south of Weyher. Our vines grow there on heavy, mineral-rich clay soils. A southerly slope ensures sufficient sunshine for our Pinot Noir and Dornfelder grapes, among others.
South of Weyher, in the Modenbachtal, there is the Burrweiler Altenforst site, which merges into the Weyherer Michelsberg in a northerly direction, where isolated, rare slate soil can be found. Sandstone weathering and clay soils are also represented here.
North of Hainfeld and south-east of Weyher is the individual vineyard Hainfelder Letten, belonging to the large vineyard Orders. Here, too, our vines tend to grow on heavy clay to loess soils, where we cultivate Silvaner and Pinot Blanc, for example.
To the south-west of Hainfeld lies the Hainfelder Kapelle site with over 110 hectares of vineyards. Here you will find heavier clay-limestone soils on which we grow Riesling.
The Rhodter Rosengarten site is located to the south between Rhodt unter Reitburg and Weyher. Here, vines grow on more than 90ha on calcareous soils, which tend to be heavy in the east. For us, Pinot Gris thrives there and we cultivate Huxel and Scheurebe on deeper clay soils.
Last but not least, we would like to introduce you to our "village-owned" and only location in Weyher, the Michelsberg. This extends around the entire village with different slopes and isolated slate soils on which we grow Riesling, which matures into a mineral wine every year! Cabernet blanc, Müller Thurgau and Pinot Noir also grow here. To the east, on heavy soils, we cultivate Gewürztraminer or Pinot Gris.
